Shoaib Akhtar's Autobiography - Controversially Yours

Shoaib Akhtar's Autobiography - Controversially Yours

Controversially Yours by Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has generated lot of controversy in India. I was just watching his interview in a TV Channel amidst all these controversies and he was very unapologetic of his remarks that he has made for Sachin and Dravid in his Book. He was candid that this is what he thinks and these are his views about Sachin and Rahul dravid. They may be legends for the people of India but as far as his perception is concerned Shoaib Akhtar does not agree to this.

According to Shoaib Sachin is not a God of Cricket as people think. He has cited examples of Tests that he had played against Tendulkar and Dravid where India lost despite Tendulkar scoring centuries. Hence he feels that Tendulkar and Dravid are not match winners.

What Shoaib Akhtar believes that during his cricketing career when he played against Scahin and Dravid they haven’t done so well. Shoaib in his autobiography says that Sachin Tendulkar was scared of his pace bowling and in one incident Tendulkar even walked to Pavilion even when the ball hasn’t edged.

In his Autobiography - Controversially Yours, Shoaib Akhtar has also accused Pakistani cricketers of match fixing. Shoaib Akhtar has not even spared the KKR owner Shahrukh Khan and accused him of ill treatment. He has not even spared Wasim Akhtar.

Shoaib is all out to promote his book and he knows that India is a big market so these controversies has definitely increased the chances of his book selling like hot cakes.

Shoiab Akhtar’s Autobiography - Controversially Yours though may have generated lot of interest but Shoaib must also know that Sachin is like a God for the Indian cricket fans. Rahul Dravis is a legendary batsman, so this might go against Shoaib.

People of India might boycott Shoaib’s Autobiography - Controversially Yours for the obvious reasons.
