UPSC will conduct Special Class Railway apprentices Exam on 29th January, 2012. Railway apprentices’ exam 2012 will be carried out for the recruitment of eligible candidates in Indian Railways for Special Class Apprentices in Mechanical.

Eligibility criteria Special Class Railway Apprentice Examination 2012 UPSC
All the eligible citizens of India can apply for Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam 2012. Age of the candidates must be between 17 to 21 years as on 1st January, 2012. Candidates born earlier than  2nd January, 1991 and later than 1st January, 1995 are not eligible.

Candidates please note that the Online Application form for Special Class Railway Apprentice Examination 2012 UPSC can be filled before or up to 21th November, 2011 (11.59 PM). No application form will be available after this date.

Application fee for Special Class Railway Apprentice Examination 2012
Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 100 while applying Online. Please note that fee is exempted for Female/SC/ST/PH
Application Fee can be paid by remitting the money in your nearest branch of SBI by Cash, or you can also pay the fee by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card or by using net SBI banking facility.
Examination pattern of Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination 2012

Eligible Candidates will have to appear for the Written Examination maximum of 600 marks. The examination subjects are mentioned below.
Paper-I : General Ability Test (English, GK and Psychological Test): 2 Hours: 200 marks

Paper-II: Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry): 2 Hours: 200 marks

Paper-III: Mathematics : 2 Hours : 200 marks

Successful candidates in the written exam will be called for personality test and interview.
