How to reach Delhi – Greater Noida – Agra – Yamuna Expressway
Finally the much awaited Yamuna Expressway linking Delhi-Greater Noida- Agra was thrown open to the general public on 9th August 2012. Now the travel time from Delhi to Agra has decreased by over 3 hours. Now you can reach Agra from delhi in just 2 to 3 hours. Now India Gate to Agra have come so closer.
However you need to pay some premium for this ride from Delhi to Agra. The car and jeep owners need to pay toll of Rs 320. The 165-km expressway between Greater Noida and Agra is truly international class and the smooth road will definitely tempt you to drive fast. But be aware there are interceptors in between and if you cross the upper limit of 100 kms per hour on the Delhi Agra Yamuna Express highway be ready to pay high penalty.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav inaugurated the Yamuna Express way via Video Conferencing. The distance of 165 kms between Agra and Greater Noida will be completed in 100 minutes.
The Yamuna Express way has been constructed by Jaypee Group which has the right to collect toll for 36 years. The maximum speed of 100 km per hour is fixed for light vehicles and speed for heavy vehicles has been fixed to 65 km per hour

If you are in Central, North, West Delhi or coming from ISBT Kashmere gate side then you need to come to Noida More near Akshardham Temple in East delhi. From Akshardham flyover you take the Noida Road. Go straight and this road will lead you to the Express Highway.
When coming from South Delhi you can take DND flyway to Noida and keep an eye for the diversion just after paying the toll at DND. It will lead you straight to the Express way to Greater Noida and subsequently to Agra.
Alternatively you can also come via Sarita Vihar. After crossing the Yamuna Bridge at Kalindi Kunj take right from Mahamaya flyover and that road will lead you to the Yamuna Express Highway.
Enjoy your trip to Agra now via Yamuna Expressway from Delhi to Agra. Please do not cross the maximum speed limit of 100 km per hour for cars. If you do that then be ready for the fine at the next toll gate.
There are cameras installed on the Yamuna Express way for the traffic offenders so be ware.
