भारत ने नए कोरोनवायरस वायरस के छह मामलों की सूचना दी है। एक सरकारी बयान के अनुसार, कुल 6 UK Returneed नए यूके वेरिएंट जीनोम के साथ Positive पाए गए हैं। बेंगलुरु के NIMHANS में तीन नमूने, CCMB में 2, हैदराबाद और NIV में 1, Positive पाए गए हैं

 

Between 23rd and 25th December, around 33,000 passengers have arrived in India from the UK. Covid tests were conducted on them, and 114 have tested positive for Covid.  Genome sequencing for other specimens is on, the government has said. The states where these passengers arrived, meanwhile, is tracing them and their contacts for Covid RT-PCR tests

 

"All these individuals are placed in single room isolation in designated health care facilities by the respective state governments. Their close contacts are also put under quarantine. Initiated extensive tracing for co-travelers, family contacts and others is going on, ”the ministry said. Health and Family Welfare said genome sequencing is underway on other samples.
