Prior to her engagement with Charles Shobhraj, there is no authentic information about the life of Nihita Biswas. There is very litte information about her childhood days. We might get to know the details from her in the coming days inside the Big Boss House. However Nihita Biswas came to limelight when she decided to marry Charles Shobhraj. Nihita Biswas belongs to a small place in Nepal. In 2008 at the age of twenty Nihita Biswas and Charles Sobhraj announced their engagement.

The dramatic event was highly publicized in Nepal and India and was the headline in all the news papers and news channels in India and Nepal. It was in the month of July 2008 when Nihita Biswas issued a press release requesting the media not to term her husband as a killer or murderer. She believed that he was not so and was never convicted by any court.

It was reported by the media and unconfirmed sources that the marriage between Charles Shobhraj and Nihita Biswas was solemnized in 2008 itself and that too inside the Jail where Shobhraj is currently serving a life term.

Nihita Biswas is herself an inmate now inside the house of Big Boss 5.
