Finally the day arrived when Mayawati launches and inaugurates her dream park, Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park in Noida on 14^th October 2011. The Noida Administration is all prepared to make her happy by painting the entire Noida city with her Postures along with postures and big hoardings of Ambedkar and Kanshiram.

The giant Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park is constructed with an amount of Rs 685.

Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park is a huge 33 hectare project and was in news for many reasons in the past. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park consists of 15 statues of Dalit icon Baba Saheb Dr BR Ambedkar along with the statues of Jyotirao Phule and Kanshi Ram.

The highlighting point of Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park in Noida is the big Bronze statues of Mayawati. Apart from the statues you will also see many giant statues of elephants. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park in Noida also has many fountains. You will also see bronze elephants installed in the Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park.

This is a dream project of Mayawati who is also known for her fondness for jewelry and statues. Mayawati now has formed a special police force that will be responsible for protecting parks and memorials for Dalit icons.

Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park in Noida has the latest LED tubes worth over Rs 4 crores which will offer an amazing view in the night.

Very expensive and attractive lighting solutions will add value and beauty to the Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park. The lighting system has been provided by foreign firm Philips Gardco.

Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park in Noida has over 3,000 LED tubes have been installed in the park. Each LED tube in Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park is of Rs 12,000.

Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park was in controversy last few years. There was a stay in the construction of this park but finally Supreme Courts order in 2010 resumed construction of the Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park.  

The Supreme court order stated that construction of the Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park can start only after the UP government plants adequate number of trees on 50% of the Park. The reason being there is a Okhla bird sanctuary near the park and the green cover should be there.
