Amit Shah has again hit a Six - Opposition playing Minority Card but Minority doesn't mean only Muslims

Why the opposition is unable to set a narrative against Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019
Image result for citizenship amendment bill passed
The Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 has been passed in Lok Sabha and BJP is sure and confident that this bill will also taste the success in Rajya Sabha on December 11.

Amit Shah during his speeches in the Parliament emphasized only on one major point, that Indian Muslims need not worry because the bill excludes only Muslims from Pakistan, Afganistan & Bangladesh.

The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2019, that seeks to give Indian nationality to non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan passed the lower House test yesterday. The Bill seeks to amend the definition of illegal immigrant for Hindu, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist and Christian immigrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, who have lived in India without documentation. They will be granted fast-track Indian citizenship in six years. So far, 12 years of residence has been the standard eligibility requirement for naturalisation
The opposition knows it very well that the bill has nothing to do with Indian Muslims but many of their leaders are trying to set a narrative that the bill is against the Muslims. The bill is against the secular nature of this country. They are questioning the government that why Muslims have been left out in this bill. Why persecuted Muslims are not included. They should also have been included and given the Indian citizenship.

However Amit Shah and BJP have been very loud and clear that the Minorities of Pakistan, Bangladesh & Afganistan, persecuted based on the religion will be given Indian Citizenship

All the mentioned countries are Islamic Majority countries and the Muslims even if they are persecuted there are not because of the religion. There are other reasons for their persecution.

Our team met few Muslims in the neighborhood who are from UP and Bihar working in Delhi NCR. They had no issue whatsoever with this bill. They said we are Indians, our forefathers lived here and we have our lands and houses in our villages so why should we be worried. We are not Bangladeshis, We are not Rohingyas and we are not illegally living here. Why should we fear from this bill.

Some were confused that why only Hindu, Sikh, Christian and other minorities of Pakistan Bangladesh and Afghanistan are being given the citizenship? Why not Muslim minorities from these countries??

We had to make them understand that Muslims are minorities in India, therefore we call them minorities but in these countries we cannot call them minorities because these are Islamic countries with Muslim population of over 95%.

MINORITY doesn't  mean Muslims but Indian politicians are misleading such Indian Muslims who comes from the lower class and who are not educated by playing minority card with them

The opposition has been trying hard to convince the Indian Muslims that the bill is against the Muslims but in just 15 minutes of conversation we were able to convince the Muslims we spoke with, that the bill has nothing to do with them.

That is the reason why opposition has again failed this time. In fact the ruling party has very smartly been able to explain this bill in just few lines

If you are not a ROHINGYA, If you are not an illegal Bangladeshi, Pakistani of Afgani Muslim then there is no need to worry. Indian Muslims were living freely, will continue to live freely in this country.

Congress Slams Nitin Gadkari's Remarks on Reservation and Jobs

“Where are the Jobs” says Nitin gadkari when asked on reservations – See How Rahul Gandhi and Congress Reacted

Nitin Gadkari is a leader who always speaks his heart. According to ndtv.com  Nitin Gadkari made the remarks responding to reporters' questions on the ongoing agitation by the Marathas for reservation and similar demands by other communities in Maharashtra.
"Let's us assume the reservation is given. But there are no jobs. Because in banks, the jobs have shrunk because of IT. The government recruitment is frozen. Where are the jobs?" he asked.

"The problem with the quota is that backwardness is becoming a political interest. Everyone says I am backward. In Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, Brahmins are strong. They dominate politics. (And) They say they are backward," the senior BJP leader said.
"So one school of thought is that a poor person is a poor person, he has no caste, creed or language. Whatever may be the religion -- the Muslim, the Hindu or the Maratha (a caste), in all communities there is one section which has no clothes to wear, no food to eat.
"One school of thought also is (that) we must also consider the poorest of the poor section in every community," he said.

The people of India have been demanding the reservation based on economic status so that people from all the castes, communities, religions get the benefit of reservation. There have been instances wherein generation after generation people are getting the benefit of reservation, however the economically weaker sections of the society have not got the benefit and are still struggling.

In every cast and community you will find poor and backwards but not all are fortunate to get the reservation benefit in India. Hence Nitin Gadkari rightly pointed out that now every cast in India is trying to prove them backward and demanding reservation in jobs. In the recent past we have seen many such demands from various casts.

We saw Jats in Haryana, Gurjars in Rajasthan, Patedaars in Gujarat and now Marathas in Maharastra.

The problem is that as per the SC ruling there is a percent limit for reservation and governments just can’t promise reservation to all who are demanding it.
Second problem is opposition from the existing OBC castes in sharing their quota of reservation with other castes.

After hearing Nitin Gadkari Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Congress attacked the government and tweeted

Maharashtra Congress also took a gig at PM Narendra Modi and tweeted a video with the name Jumla Series

Mumbai Congress was also not behind and tweeted

Is Congress really a Muslim Party

What did Rahul say to the Muslim delegates

According to Inquilab Urdu Newspaper when Rahul met a delegation of Muslim Scholars he made a statement that Yes Congress is a Muslim Party. However many news portals have their own interpretation of this statement

According to AltNews, this is what the newspaper reported Gandhi as having said: “If BJP says that Congress is a party of Muslims, it is fine. Congress is a party of Muslims, because Muslims are weak and Congress always stands with the weak.”

The BJP got ammunition to target Rahul and Congress party and have come under attack. The BJP is saying that yes this proves that congress is an anti Hindu party.

Anil Baluni Tweeted

दैनिक इंक़लाब में 'जनेऊधारी' राहुल गांधी का बयान : कांग्रेस मुस्लिम पार्टी है।

Prime Minister Modi referring to this statement targeted Rahul Gandhi in his West Bengal Rally

“I have read in newspapers that Congress naamdar has said that the Congress is a party of Muslims,” Modi said. “This debate has been on for the last two days. I am not surprised because during the Manmohan Singh government, the prime minister himself that said that Muslims have the first claim on the country’s resources…”

Shahid Siddiqui was the first to tweet this report from Inquilab Urdu Newspaper

Urdu daily Inqalab has quoted Rahul Gandhi saying “Yes Congress is a Muslim party”. Is the quote correct or party will contradict it? Muslims don’t want a Muslim party, they want a National Secular party, which doesn’t discriminate between citizens. @RahulGandhi @INCIndia

The Inquilab journalist Mumtaz Alam Rizvi, who had first published the story based on the sources, came up with another story next day with an interview of the person who actually attended that meeting verifying his claim

The general feeling among the masses is why Rahul Gandhi and Congress is hell bent on appeasing Muslims? By doing so aren’t they getting themselves distanced from the majority community? There is no rocket science required or you need Political Pundits to explain that Muslims in UP and other states are not going to vote Congress. In UP the Muslim vote is mostly divided among SP and BSP.

In West Bengal it is Mamata Bannerjee who commands Muslim votes. In south Congress has no presence except for Karnataka. In Karnataka also the base is not that strong that it can sweep the entire seats by appeasing. HD devegauda’s party will come in between now.

By appeasing Muslims is Congress eying the next assembly elections in Rajasthan, MP and Chattisgarh? But the equation is not like UP in these states and the appeasement is not going to help. Then what do Congress do?
The think Tank of Congress should now understand that their recent tactics have fallen flat and they should now come up with some ideas that strike the chord of the general public.

The Public is already annoyed with anti Modi rhetoric of the opposition and now want solutions to the problems which they are highlighting. That is the big flaw in the opposition’s strategy against the government. You highlight the issues but give solutions as well is the need of the hour

Mayawati’s partymen have already declared her as the next PM candidate. Akhilesh Yadav is not willing to give more than 2 seats to congress in UP. For Mamata Rahul Gandhi doesn’t exist and can never be her choice as PM candidate. Sharad Pawar has already shown his inhibitions to accept Rahul as PM. South leaders like KCR and CBN have not opened their cards yet. So what are the options for Congress now?

How can they prove to the Mahagathwandhan if it happens that they are the ones who can form the government under leadership of Rahul Gandhi
The Mahagathwandhan if happens then the only criteria will be the party with maximum seats will get the PM

Leaders of all the parties shaking hands and sharing the stage to announce their unity is very easy but when it actually comes to forming the Ganthwandhan it will be a hell lot of task for the parties

If we take example of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati are the two main opposition forces who can fight Modi, congress is distant 4th and will struggle even at Amethi and Rai Bareli. In such a situation Congress will not get enough seats. Mayawati and Akhilesh if really want to become PM have to get maximum seats from UP. Both have to share the maximum number of seats in UP

Mayawati has already hinted that if congress want seat shares in UP, then they have to share their seats in congress dominated states like Punjab, Karnataka or where congress has a good base in states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chatisgarh etc.

The congress is at loss in both the arrangements. By removing Digvijay Singh from the CWC congress will again face a wrath of the supporters of Digvijay who still has a good mass base in MP.

Can an opposition with logical fallacies stop BJP in 2019?

Want to stop BJP?? Start working for People now

In a democracy like India opposition parties has a big role to play. An opposition is must in our country so that they can bring to notice the issues and challenges the country is facing. However after 2014 when Modi government came to power the meaning of opposition has changed now. Yes it is true that opposition should oppose the government but reacting to everything that government does is not helping the cause of the opposition.

Image result for party symbols

There is no alternative narrative, no leader with the mass appeal, no logical debates and people of the country understand very well which move by the government is in their favour and which is not.

The likes of Congress, Samajwadis, Owaisis, Communists and others have decided that they are going to target the PM for whatever is happening in this country.

India is a hugely populated country and every day we witness thousands of incidents like family disputes, fights and clashes among groups, robberies, road rages, and murders and such incidents are happening from ages. India is a country where you will find people from all religions, casts, and creeds and obviously these people are involved in the incidents.

However the opposition parties and a section of media will cherry pick an incident where a Dalit or a Minority is involved and will start highlighting the issues as if the government is against this section of people. Is this the alternative narrative by which they are going to bring down the government and get votes in the next elections?

Reacting to every move by the government without providing any concrete logic is not working in the favour of the opposition

Playing the communal card by the opposition is going to cost them dear as the more they will try to appease the minority the more this country will see polarization and that is going to help BJP as they will get more support from the majority community in this country.

The minority community is also fed up with the vote bank politics and now wants development and upliftment in the society. Various parties have been using them as vote bank only and have never worked for their betterment.

If you ask my opinion then I firmly believe that we should have a strong opposition which can challenge any wrong move by the government intelligently. The agendas of our opposition need to be changed and they should introspect and come up with narratives which are helpful for the common man and to the country.

The leaders Digvijay Singh, Manish Tiwari, Rahul Gandhi, Owaisi, Yadavs, and others should understand that having some few millions followers on twitter will not earn you votes. Mind it most of your followers are trollowers (trollers) who are there to abuse you.

So come out of twitter, go to ground zero meet people, listen to their issues and try to solve them and help them. When you are in the public the focus should be to help them and dare you spew the venom the public will find it annoying and you will lose votes.

Congress still has its governments in many states. It should rather focus on the developments of these states and highlight their work at the national level if they really want to win the confidence back. There is no other option but to work for the public at the ground level rather than blabbering on twitter or Facebook.

The fake news stories will not work in the future as the Indian public is well informed and intelligent now. You cannot make fool out of them now, gone are the days when the politicians befooled them for votes.

The propaganda managers of all the parties who are working day and night on Facebook and social media to demean each other should be trained again as they have already exposed themselves in the eye of general public. Their campaigns are not working now.

The only way out is to reach to the people, talk to them but talk sense and help them overcome their problems rather than lecturing them or abusing the government. Work on the states where you are in power and showcase it to the public while asking for the votes.

Rest it is up to the parties how they are going to strategize their future campaigns
