The truth of attack on Umar Khalid

A group had organized an event and named it Khauf Se Azadi. Suddenly there is a breaking news and many portals and news channels started a headline, Umar Khalid shot at, escaped unhurt, JNU scholar Umar Khalid escaped murder attempt, etc

Umar Khalid is one of the Jawaharlal Nehru University students who was arrested for allegedly raising Anti India Slogans in JNU Campus along with Kanhayiya Kumar

There are many versions of this incident. According to Umar he was pushed back by a man who tried to shoot him. His friends rushed in to rescue him and tried to catch hold the man but he ran away from the spot leaving behind the pistol.

An eyewitness also came forward and told that  when Umar and his friends were having tea at a stall near the venue of the event, just when they were about to enter the venue, two men, attacked Umar Khalid.

Later Kapil Mishra, Ex-AAP MLA tweeted the photograph of the witness saying that is this a coincidence that this man is close to Kejriwal and AAP.

A video of another witness went viral on social media. He claimed that Umar Khalid in fact was not even near the spot where firing happened. There was a scuffle between two people, one of them fired in the air and ran away. 

Many people have been accusing Umar Khalid of stage managing this incident for publicity

Delhi Police is investigation the matter and the reality is expected to come out soon. 

The Delhi Police on Tuesday morning released a footage of a man suspected to have shot at JNU student leader Umar Khalid. The incident took place yesterday (August 14) outside the Constitution Club in Delhi. Umar was at the venue to attend an event titled Khauff Se Azaadi, organised by the United Against Hate group.
The suspect fleeing the spot on a CCTV camera installed at Vitthalbhai Patel Road in Delhi, reported ANI.
Once this man is identified and arrested people will come to know with what motive this man was there near the event venue and why did and at whom did he actually shot at
