Why Kerala CM and Politicians from opposition parties are shying away from appreciating the efforts of Indian Armed Forces

Why No word of appreciation for Indian Armed Forces who is there round the clock carrying out rescue operations

The devastating floods in Kerala have caused lot of damage to the state. Many lives have been lost. Lakhs of houses have been damaged in the recent floods.

The heavy monsoon rainfall in Kerala started on in the evening of August 8. The heavy rainfall resulted in in
most of the dams filling to capacity; in the first 24 hours of rainfall the state received 310 mm (12 in) of rain.
To avoid further damage to the dams and risking more damage, almost all dams have been opened since the water level has risen due to heavy rainfall. As a result the local low-lying areas got flooded.

As soon as the news reached the government, the Indian Armed Forced was deployed in Kerala for the rescue operations. Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, ITBP and NDRF Teams without any delay started the relief and rescue work. Lakhs of citizens were evacuated and relief camps were set up for the affected people of Kerala. The Indian Air Force and Navy Helicopters have been flying non-stop to rescue people who are stranded in the flood waters.

The Air Force made sure that the boats and rescue equipment reach in all the districts of Kerala which were used by the Indian Army, NDRF, ITBP and others for rescue operations. Their Jawans are at the ground providing relief to the people. Distributing food packets, medicines and bringing the displaced to the relief camps.

Along with the Jawans the Indian Navy divers are also at work in rescue operations. The Indian Naval Ships are getting fresh drinking water, food and medicines which are being supplied at the relief camps.

However there is one big question the people of India are asking now.

Why Kerala CM, Kerala Ministers, Congress Party, Samajwadi Party, TMC, BSP and other opposition parties are not openly appreciating the efforts of the Indian Armed Forces?

Everybody is so vocal including Rahul Gandhi that Center should give more money to Kerala. Center hasn't given anything yet

Central government has already announced a grant of over 800 crores as of now. Crores of rupees have been donated by various states of the country. Crores have been pouring in to the CM Fund from citizens across the country.

Are the opposition not aware that even if PM gives 2000 crores right away will the Kerala government be able to spend it immediately? Aren't they aware that the first priority is to rescue the people who are still stranded in the floods?

The Indian Armed Forces are working on war footing and round the clock and have till now been successful in rescuing millions of people from the floods. They are also providing food, water, medicines at the relief camps.

Though some local fishermen have also come in support of rescue workers and RSS and other agencies are also at the ground to assist the Indian Armed forces but some politicians with some vested interests are not appreciating or saying a single word in support of Indian Armed Forces.

Few years ago the same Army did a tremendous job during Kashmir floods, In Assam floods the armed forces were in the forefront as well.

Are the opposition afraid that if they commend the job of Army it will be taken as a praise for Modi Government?

No my dear Indian Opposition, Indian Armed Forces belongs to the Indians only and no matter which party is ruling any particular state the soldier will be in action when need arises

Though Indian Armed Forces work silently and never want to come into limelight and they don't care even if there efforts are not being recognize. They are committed to do their jb whether it is inside India or at the borders, it is always the Nation First for them
