Tanishq Store attcked in Gandhidham Gujarat - Fake news spread by NDTV, India TV and some other portals

A report on NDTV portal claimed that a Mob Attacks Tanishq Store In Gujarat Amid Row Over Ad.

There is no substantiation of this news and it is based on some sources.

NDTV wrote “A store of popular jewellery brand Tanishq was attacked in Gujarat amid row over an advertisement that has been withdrawn after vicious trolling on social media. The store manager was reportedly made to write an apology letter by the mob. "Apologies to people of Kutch district for hurting sentiment of Hindus by broadcasting secular advertisement (sic)," the manager reportedly wrote in the apology letter after the Tanishq store in Gujarat's Gandhidham was attacked, sources said.

Dr Neel, A twitter user with the name The Skin Doctor spoke to the Tanishq Store Manager over phone who categorically denied any such incident.

The Manager of the store was surprised to hear this news which he never witnessed and tol Dr Neel that some cameras and reporters have gathered outside his store.

One of the Tanishq stores in Gujarat has apologized for the controversial advertisement yesterday, and had put an apology banner on his showroom. That was out of his will with no compulsion at all.

It is evident that NDTV always pick and chose news that are critical to Modi only. Their selective reporting is known to everyone and as a result they are too far behind the TRP race.
