CM Yogi supports demand to ban liquor, meat in Braj region of UP, Guess who is annoyed

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने सोमवार को अपने मथुरा दौरे के दौरान मथुरा-वृंदावन सहित ब्रज क्षेत्र में शराब और मांसाहारी भोजन की बिक्री को रोकने के लिए संतों और जन प्रतिनिधियों की लोकप्रिय मांग का समर्थन किया।

 

भगवान कृष्ण की भूमि में जन्माष्टमी समारोह का हिस्सा होने और कृष्णोत्सव 2021 में बोलते हुए, सीएम ने कहा कि उन्होंने मथुरा जिला प्रशासन को उस संबंध में एक प्रस्ताव तैयार करने और राज्य सरकार को भेजने का निर्देश दिया था। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि शराब और मांसाहारी भोजन के व्यापार में शामिल लोगों का पुनर्वास किया जाएगा.

 

सीएम योगी ने कहा, 'संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया जाता है कि वे प्रतिबंध लगाने के साथ-साथ इस तरह की गतिविधियों में शामिल लोगों को किसी अन्य व्यापार में शामिल करने का प्रस्ताव दें।

 

उन्होंने सुझाव दिया कि मथुरा की महिमा को पुनर्जीवित करने के लिए शराब और मांस के व्यापार में लगे लोग दूध बेचना शुरू कर सकते हैं, जो कि भारी मात्रा में पशु दूध के उत्पादन के लिए जाना जाता था।

 

यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने विपक्ष पर परोक्ष हमला करते हुए कहा कि पिछली सरकारों के लिए भगवान कृष्ण और राम 'सांप्रदायिक' हुआ करते थे।

Muslims are around 18% of Mathura’s population, and Dalits 20%. In other words at least around 40% of the population there eats meat. There are also meat eaters among other caste groups. How can Yogi attack their right to eat the food of their choice?
