Cashback will be available on
sending money through WhatsApp, work is being done on new features at a great
pace!
WhatsApp is reportedly working
on rolling out a cashback system to increase the reach of its payments feature.
Not only this, the latest report has revealed that the instant messaging giant
is also planning to introduce features like redesigning the group info page and
creating icons for the group. All of these features are reportedly currently
being developed, and have not yet been made available to beta testers.
According to the report, the
cashback will be available only on UPI payments in India. It is not clear which
users will get this cashback, or what other conditions will apply.
WhatsApp is also working on
redesigning the group info page, putting the chat and call buttons front and
center. This new design was seen in WhatsApp Beta 2.21.190.15 for iOS. The new
design will bring bigger buttons for chat, audio and video calls. Even the
share button will be placed at the front to easily share the invite link for
all the admins of the group.
